SURVIVORS is seeking Licensed Mental Health Clinicians for Children/Students
Survivors of Torture, International (SURVIVORS) is seeking licensed psychologists, LCSWs, LMFTs, and LPCCs to provide mental health care for school-aged children via telehealth. Our contracted therapists reduce the effects of trauma for our clients and facilitate healing. Contractors accept clients for individual therapy on a case-by-case basis. You choose your availability and create your own schedule. With the use of telehealth, we are able to accept contractors outside of San Diego County who have current licensure in the state of California. SURVIVORS provides compensation for your work. We will also provide professional interpreters to work with you.
Survivors of Torture, International contracts with licensed mental health professionals who are committed to our mission to:
- Facilitate the healing of torture survivors and their families
- Educate professionals and the public about torture, and its consequences
- Advocate for the abolition of torture

“I have often thought I should pay to do this work. Through my experience with SURVIVORS, I have witnessed both the best and worst of humankind. The depth of the trauma I have heard recounted in stories is surpassed by the strength and spirit I see in each survivor. Each client I have worked with has stretched my heart in ways that no other work has.”
