The 13th Annual Helping Survivors Heal Fundraising Event will take place in-person on September 14, 2023 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Mission Valley (Hazard Center) from 11:30-1 PM.
Survivors of Torture, International will celebrate its first in-person Helping Survivors Heal Luncheon since 2019, as well as our first annual event with our new Executive Director Etleva Bejko. Celebrating the theme “Honoring Our Legacy, Paving Our Future,” SURVIVORS will take the opportunity to recognize the last 26 years of fulfilling our mission while also sharing our organization’s vision moving forward. During the event, we will also celebrate some very special individuals who represent the legacy of our community of healing: The Kathi Anderson Legacy Honors will feature a long-time advocate, a dedicated healer, and the family of SURVIVORS’ first-ever client.
