The Women’s Expressive Arts Group, “Connect, Create, Rejuvenate,” meets on a weekly basis. This is a women’s rehabilitative group which reduces stress for clients through healing arts and creative practices such as expressive arts, deep breathing, sound therapy, and simple movement. The group has created soul collage, multi-media books, prayer flags, snow globes, and much more. The group is co-led by SURVIVORS staff Nance Lovell and Dr. Julie Kuck. Caminando Juntos is a Spanish speaking group for clients to discuss their thoughts, feelings and experiences as immigrants including in detention centers. It is peer-support style with the group choosing their own topics, setting ground rules, and leading the discussions. The name of the group translates to "walking together" which is indicative of the theme and approach of the group.

Breaking Barriers is a space for youth and young adults (15- 25) to begin to explore their well-being. Topics revolve around mental health, the stigma of mental health, loss, the connection between mental wellness and sexual health and much more.
Session focused on health including how physical and mental health are interconnected. Participants
will learn about the mind and body connection including how mental health challenges can present as
physical symptoms. They will also learn wellness activities to promote health and well-being.
Interpretation available for those attending in-person. The orientation will also be offered online in English.
