Women’s Expressive Arts Group (Off-Site)

The Women’s Expressive Arts Group, “Connect, Create, Rejuvenate,” meets on a weekly basis. This is a women’s rehabilitative group which reduces stress for clients through healing arts and creative practices such as expressive arts, deep breathing, sound therapy, and simple movement. The group has created soul collage, multi-media books, prayer flags, snow globes, and much more. The group is co-led by SURVIVORS staff Nance Lovell and Dr. Julie Kuck. “Breaking Barriers” Transitional Age Youth Group

Breaking Barriers is a space for youth and young adults (15- 25) to begin to explore their well-being. Topics revolve around mental health, the stigma of mental health, loss, the connection between mental wellness and sexual health and much more.

Cultural Orientation: Transportation (in-person or online)

Session focused on different types of transportation and how to safely use them. Participants will learn
about the transportation offered in their community and how to get around with them. They will also
learn about the challenges and benefits of owning and driving a car.

Interpretation available for those attending in-person. The orientation will also be offered online in English.
