Fostering inclusivity and empowerment, our LGBTQ+ group champions diversity, celebrates the spectrum of love and identity, and provides a safe space for individuals to share their experiences. In-person interpretation provided. Transportation support also provided.

Women’s Expressive Arts Group (Off-Site)

The Women’s Expressive Arts Group, “Connect, Create, Rejuvenate,” meets on a weekly basis. This is a women’s rehabilitative group which reduces stress for clients through healing arts and creative practices such as expressive arts, deep breathing, sound therapy, and simple movement. The group has created soul collage, multi-media books, prayer flags, snow globes, and much more. The group is co-led by SURVIVORS staff Nance Lovell and Dr. Julie Kuck. It takes place at Julie’s office in the community. For more information or to sign up, please discuss the group with your assigned Case Manager.

“Breaking Barriers” Transitional Age Youth Group

Breaking Barriers is a space for youth and young adults (15- 25) to begin to explore their well-being. Topics revolve around mental health, the stigma of mental health, loss, the connection between mental wellness and sexual health and much more.

Cultural Orientation: Budget + Personal Finance/Money Management (online and in-person)

Session focused on managing personal finances in the United States. Participants will learn about
different sources of income and the importance of budgeting and prioritizing. They will also learn about
keeping money in a bank, what they need to know about their paycheck, and how to pay bills.

Interpretation is available for those attending in-person. Orientation will also be offered online in English.
