Women’s Expressive Arts Group (Off-Site)

The Women’s Expressive Arts Group, “Connect, Create, Rejuvenate,” meets on a weekly basis. This is a women’s rehabilitative group which reduces stress for clients through healing arts and creative practices such as expressive arts, deep breathing, sound therapy, and simple movement. The group has created soul collage, multi-media books, prayer flags, snow globes, and much more. The group is co-led by SURVIVORS staff Nance Lovell and Dr. Julie Kuck. “Breaking Barriers” Transitional Age Youth Group

Breaking Barriers is a space for youth and young adults (15- 25) to begin to explore their well-being. Topics revolve around mental health, the stigma of mental health, loss, the connection between mental wellness and sexual health and much more.

Cultural Orientation: Employment (in-person or online)

Session focused on employment in the United States. Participants will learn the importance of finding
and keeping a job along with types of jobs, how to find a job, and ways to prepare for a job interview.
They will also learn about the rights and responsibilities of workers.

Interpretation is available for those attending in-person. The orientation will also be offered online in English.
