Survivors of Torture, International is currently looking for licensed mental health professionals to provide mental health services for clients and psychological evaluations for asylum seekers. SURVIVORS is a non-profit organization that provides mental health and case management services to individuals from over 80 countries who are seeking asylum and refuge in the United States.

Who is Eligible to Apply:

  • Licensed Psychologists
  • LCSWs, LMFTS, LPCCs
  • Pastoral Counselors

For evaluations, experience in psychological evaluations is desirable, but no experience is required; support and training is provided by SURVIVORS

 

Steps to Apply:

 

1A) Attend our Journey to Healing Tour.

The tour is a space for you to learn more about our organization and the services we provide clients, and to determine if and how you have an interest in being involved.  Click here to see our upcoming tour schedule and RSVP.
1B) Complete our psychotherapist  application

2) After both of those steps are complete, our Program Manager, Mahvash Alami, will review your application and contact you to discuss next steps, or to schedule an interview.

Previous mental health clinicians that have worked with our agency have stated they enjoyed working with our clients because of the variety of languages, cultures and resiliencies they have seen with clients who receive services.
